Operations
The Town of Morrisville operates under the Council-Manager form of government, in which the citizens elect a Mayor and Council Members (the Council) as the Town's governing body.
The Council appoints the
Town Manager to serve as the chief operating officer, administering all municipal affairs in his/her charge. The Council appoints the
Town Clerk as the custodian of
public records and liaison to the citizens. The Council appoints the Town Attorney to ensure the legal integrity of the governing body.
Contacting your Town Council
The Council values public input. If you have comments to address to the Council as a whole, you can
email the Town Council. You can also contact the
members individually. You are also encouraged to attend a Town Council
Meeting to speak public;ly and you can always submit a petition.
