                                              NOTICE OF CONSTRUCTION

Street Maintenance Project FY2017 (FDR Perimeter Park Dr.)

The Town of Morrisville has contracted with Raleigh Paving to perform pavement, curb & gutter and sidewalk repairs on Perimeter Park Dr. The Town has given the contractor a notice to proceed, and we have been notified that they intend to start working on or about Monday, April 17 in the Perimeter Park Commercial Center.

The street maintenance project will close the 2 outside lanes of Perimeter Dr. from Chapel Hill Rd. to Watkins Rd. starting on Monday April 17. The work will consist of concrete repair work (curb & gutter and sidewalk), asphalt milling, full depth reclamation with Portland cement stabilization, asphalt paving and pavement marking. Once the outside 2 lanes are completed, they will be opened to traffic and this procedure will be repeated on the 2 inside lanes. The project is expected to take 4 - 5 weeks (4/17 – 5/22/2017).

Access to business driveways will remain open (especially during morning and evening employee ingress and egress) however; some delays are anticipated during the workday. The contractor will make every effort to keep any delay minimal in duration.

Additional days are included in the event unforeseen issues are uncovered during construction or weather delays occur.
