Overview:
The Town of Morrisville has received Surface Transportation Program-Direct Allocation to install approximately 1,700 feet of 10’ wide concrete sidewalk between the NC 540 Interchanges and Lichtin Boulevard. The project also includes installation of high-visibility crosswalks and pedestrian signals at the two interstate on-ramps.
Schedule (dates subject to change):
- January 2012 - Design Complete
- February 2012 - Environmental Documentation Complete
- April 2012 - Right-of-Way Certification Approved
- May 2012 - Project to Bid for Construction
- Winter 2013 - Construction Complete
