1. How can I confirm that my application was received?

To confirm receipt of your application, you may email Human Resources. Please indicate in your email your name and the position for which you applied.

2. How can I check the status of my application?

Unfortunately, due to the large number of applications received, we cannot provide information on the status of your application other than that it has been received. However, by checking the position status, you can see where we are in the hiring process. If the position status reads selection process and you have not yet been contacted, then you are not being considered for the position.

3. How many employees does Morrisville have?

The Town of Morrisville generally has about 145 full-time employees. We also employ another 130-140 part-time employees, mostly with the Parks & Recreation Department.

4. What is the hiring process for filling open positions?

When filling open positions, the following hiring process is generally followed: applicants are screened for qualifications, the most qualified applicants are selected to move forward in the process and called in for interviews and/or job related assessments, a final candidate is selected, an employment offer is made.
