1. What is your refund & cancellation policy?

All request for refunds must be in writing. A full refund is given if the department cancels a program, facility rental or athletic league. A full refund minus a $5 Administrative fee will be considered if written notice of cancellation is given 14 days prior to the program starting or athletic teams being selected or if the enrollment can be filled from a waiting list. Once a program has started or teams have been selected, a 50% refund will be given if the enrollment can be filled from a waiting list. After a programs have begun or teams have been selected, no refunds will be considered if the enrollment can not be filled from a wait list. No refunds are considered after the completion of programs, facility rentals or athletic leagues.

2. What if I am requesting a refund due to medical hardship?

Medical hardship cases will be handled at the discretion of the Director of Parks, Recreation & Cultural Resources. If medical hardship is granted, a refund may be given minus a $5 administrative fee, if received prior to the program starting or athletic teams being selected. No refunds will be given after the completion of programs or athletic leagues.

3. Can I register for classes online?

Yes, you can register for most classes online.

4. How do I receive my username and password so I can sign my children up for programs online?

If you have participated with our programs before, please call Hannah Wang at 919.463.7110 and ask for your username and password. If you have not participated in our programs before, please visit our Online Registration site and request a username and password.

5. Where do I need to go to rent a field, shelter, or classroom?

To rent an athletic field or shelter, please visit our Parks, Recreation, & Cultural Resources Administrative Office at 240 Town Hall Drive to fill out the rental application and pay the appropriate fees.

To rent a classroom or the gymnasium, please visit the Cedar Fork Community Center at 1050B Town Hall Drive to fill out the rental application and pay the appropriate fees.
